Who we are

What we collect

• Messages you send us on Instagram, WhatsApp, this website's chat or booking form, including photos and references you share.
• Your name or username, contact details and the details of your tattoo request (idea, size, placement, budget, preferred dates).
• Booking information: appointment times, the artist, quotes and deposits.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry, match you with an artist, quote and book your session (taking steps at your request before a contract).
• To keep our appointment calendar and booking records (our legitimate interest in running the studio).

We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising.

Assistant and automation

Our booking assistant is AI-powered (Anthropic Claude). It may draft or send replies about bookings; a member of the team reviews anything sensitive, and you can ask for a person at any time.

Who processes it for us

• Meta (Instagram, WhatsApp) — to receive and send messages.
• Google (Calendar) — to keep appointments.
• Anthropic — to generate assistant replies.
• Vercel and our database provider (EU region) — to host this website and our studio system.

Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting law.

Your rights and deleting your data

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or take a copy. Send a message to @northside.ink or email owner@example.com with the word "delete" and the account you contacted us from; we'll remove your messages and details within 30 days and confirm. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority (Prezes UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
